Fundraising


The Hamden Dog Park at Bassett was budgeted at just under $30,000 for fence, wheelchair-accessible trail, benches, noticeboards, poop bag dispensers, etc. $20,000 of state capital improvement funds was committed by the town to the project.

R-DOG raised the balance of $10,000. WE REACHED OUR GOAL! We must continue to raise money to help with ongoing maintenance, provide poopbags, etc.

Purchase a T-Shirt


Hamden Dog Park/R-DOG t-shirts are available. The front features a small R-DOG logo on the top left, and the back has a message "Cool Dogs Meet Their Friends at the Hamden Dog Park" with a graphic of two of those cool canines relaxing together. They come in all sizes: S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Price has been reduced to $5 each for short-sleeved (denim blue only) or long-sleeved (black only). See the pictures below.

They are available at our occasional fundraisers.

All proceeds benefit the Hamden R-DOG committee of Hamden Community Playground, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization), and are used for the creation and maintenance of dog parks in Hamden.
